This development is a big joke! If this go's ahead things will get worse & ugly for us residents who live in York street & around this area. First off all the parking in our street is PATHETIC! they promised us after 7pm on one side of our street there will be permit parking after 7pm! ARE YOU SERIOUS? who is going to police the area after 7pm? we still get people who don't live here parking there cars in the permit zone! What's the whole point of having permit parking for then? and on top of that they make us pay for permit parking in our street! SHAME ON YOU CITY OF YARRA! get your priorities straight and actually start looking after the residents who live here!
Plus to add on top of that! People i know who live in York street have had there cars hit so many times including me, because of this parking situation! and crowding of cars that drive down this street. It's getting beyond the joke! CITY OF YARRA! Oh and so much for not turning left into York street between 4pm & 6pm from Hoddle street! that really solves the crowding of cars that drive through our street.
